We removed the mesh liner because it is the single thing that keeps trunks wet for the whole drive home. These dry fast enough to change out of at the car park.
The drawstring is flat woven and bar-tacked at both ends, so it holds a knot instead of disappearing into the waistband on day three.
The fabric
78% ECONYL regenerated nylon, 22% LYCRA XTRA LIFE. 210gsm, four-way stretch, knit by one family-run mill in northern Italy. Tested to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class I, the tier written for infant products. UPF 50+ is structural, knit into the yarn rather than sprayed on, so it cannot wash out.
No PFAS, no BPA, no phthalates, no optical brighteners. The certificate number is printed inside every suit.
Care
Rinse in cold fresh water straight after swimming and dry flat in the shade. If machine washing, use a fibre-catching bag on cold. Never use fabric softener, which coats the yarn and kills its stretch recovery.
